Get your minds out of the gutter! I meant I'm reading three books at once:) The first is one of my historical fictions, "Time and Chance," the second book in a trilogy by Sharon Kay Penman, the finale of which just came out.
The second book I am reading is "Dead Until Dark," which you are all aware of, of course. I am loving it!
And the third is for the class I will be teaching called "Black Like Me." It is the story of a white man who took some drugs to become black - literally - and then spent time with African Americans in the South, to really see what their culture was like. In the 1950s. I'm only a few pages into it - he just stepped out as a black man - and it is already pretty interesting.
Of course, over the next month, I also have to read those textbooks I orderded, and then some. So wish me luck with all of this reading! No TV for me for weeks!
