When you give Apollonia time to think...

...Onto books, I'm gearing up to read the new Anita Blake book. Yes, you heard right, gearing up. I guess the last couple of books have left me kinda unsatisfied and so I'm a little gunshy on this one. Anita's piss poor attitude and habitual need to make all the men in her life unhappy. I mean really, what kind of fucked up childhood could a chick have to make it go on this long. She's got a head vampire, a head werewolf, a head leopard, and a couple peon vamps and were to keep her happy. Let's get for real, her only real problem should be deciding what flavor lollypop she wants tonight, but no she has to always get all sixth grade on one of them and the next thing you know...one moves out, another moves in, and hell why not add another lover to the mix. Ah hell, that's not what this book is about, is it? Oh well, I guess I finally have to read it and see.
