The third in "the Saga". I'm almost afraid to read the next one because I think this one wrapped things up nicely. I think the books have progressively gotten better as far as plot and character development. The books really suck me in. After I've read one I feel as though I've watched a teen soap opera or something. I like them.

I like them.I was in Borders a couple of weeks ago browsing the sci-fi section and a Mom, daughter and Mom's boyfriend (or whatever) walk by and the boyfriend says "Maybe she'd like these books. They're about vampires too. I hear it's a really good show on tv." He was of course pointing to a display of Sookie books. The mom said "Uh, I don't think so." She was obviously under the impression that there would be all kinds of hot kinky sex in the books like there is on the show and that would not be appropriate for her tweenage daughter. I almost wanted to go over and tell them that the books aren't nearly as graphic or even contain that much sex in them as the tv series does.
But I didn't.

Problem is, it's really the FIRST book that has the most graphic sex scene in it (or at least, the scene from the show was pretty graphic, I can't recall the detail of the book). So if Mom picked up the first one, she would not approve!
