I've been reading again.

I have a stash of books that I haven't touched in 6 months and in the last week I've read 2 of them. Either I've gotten my reading groove back or I am super bored...haven't decided which yet.

I finished reading Grave Sins by Jenna Maclaine. It's the 2nd in a series about a witch who is turned into a vampire and joins a group of vampires called The Righteous, who are tasked with killing vampires who don't follow the rules (ie. kill humans). What I think is really neat about the series so far is that the first book happened 13 years ago, so the second doesn't just pick up where the last left off. A lot of stuff has happened to both the characters and the world. If the series continues like this (which I think it does) the books will keep progressing until the modern day (the last story took place in 1828 and the next one is supposed to be in 1864). There is also vampire sex. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I also read Be Still My Vampire Heart by Kerrelyn Sparks. I love this series. This is the third and I'm trying to take my time with them before I run out. This one and the last were very good. There's a lot of playful banter between characters which makes for great chemistry and hot lusty sex scenes. I think Betty would like these, because they have a lot of humor mixed in with the paranormal and sex.
