I don't know how I find the time, but I've been reading at least 1 book a week for the last 2-3 months. I feel like I should be reading something other than romance books though. There's a ton of fiction I'd like to start on but just have a hard time picking where to start. I want to read something that will really stick with me. Like something from one of those "20 books to read before you die" kind of lists. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, I've been wanting to start some knitting projects but can't find the motivation. Any knit requests? If anyone ever happens to see something that's knit and would like one for themselves, bring me a picture or a pattern and I'd love to try to make it for you!

I don't have any recommendations TO read, but I recommend you NOT read "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gillman. Found it in the Classics section (I had the same idea you did!) at the library, but it was just plain bizarre. Not one of the "20 before you die" books. It was written in 1899 (so a slight language issue there) and follows a woman's journey into schizophrenia/delirium. (And just for the record, I did NOT know that is what it would be about....I just liked the cover lol). So please do not pick this one up.
Hope this helps you narrow your search down just a bit!!
Reading aside, I could have a knitting project in mind. I would LOVE some fingerless gloves. Mitten style is cool too. I'll get a patter to you here soon. xx
