Halfway to the Grave

I think Betty and Robin will appreciate this book. Cat is half human and half vampire. Her mom was raped by a vampire and she was the result. Her mom thinks all vamps are evil and insists on Cat using her vamp powers to kill them, and that's what she does. Until she runs into Bones, a hot vamp that captures her for info, agrees to train her if she'll help him kill evil vamps, and they eventually fall for each other. The only parts I didn't like about this book was Cat's mom. She's a downer. But I'd still recommend it.
