I've been slacking on here...

but I swear I've been reading. I've read four books that I haven't blogged about. The first I finished wayyyy back in August. It is Call of the Highland Moon. Betty gave me this one to read. And I think she posted about it awhile back. It was pretty good. I wasn't too thrilled with the ending, but I think I'm just being picky.

The second one was Up in Smoke, a paranormal romance about dragons, by Katie MacAlister. I've blogged about this series before. This one wasn't that great, but others in the series have been pretty good.

The third was Demon Mistress by Yasemine Galenorn. This is the 6th in this series about half fae/human sisters that are fighting to keep earth safe from power crazy evil demons. Each book is from one of the sisters perspectives. This one was about Menolly, the vampire. I like the series so far. The books are like reading a game of D&D, plus some sex thrown in.

And I just finished reading The Rest Falls Away by Colleen Gleason. It was great!! It is set in the 1900's or something, doesn't really say, and is about a young woman who is called to become a vampire slayer. This was A LOT like Buffy, except for the time period and witty dialogue (although there is some wit). This is the first in this series and I will definitely be picking up the next one (there are like five altogether now).
