This book sucked.

As I was reading this I couldn't remember why I enjoyed the first one. I just realized that I might have been happy to have finished the book, not to have read the book. Cause that's how I feel about this one. I'm so glad it's over, now I just have to remember not to buy any more of them. I couldn't take the constant in her head, overly descriptive, analagous narrative that is the entire book. A lot of it was repetitive too.
Anyways, I did one of those highly addictive 5 favorite lists on facebook for my 5 favorite books, and realized none of my favorites were romances. At least not the kind I've been reading the last 2 years. I need to start reading more books like that.

Delilah Street: Paranormal Investigator

This book was surprisingly good. It felt like watching a tv show. It was really long (394 pages) but it flew by because there was so much action and the chapters were short. The writing style is really different from other books. It's all from Delilah's perspective, but a lot of stuff feels dreamy, or like poetry. I mean in the way that it's really descriptive but it's not always clear what's going on. The plot involves werewolves, vampires, zombies, and ghouls. Standard paranormal stuff. And there is some sex. I would recommend this to anyone in book club.
