What do you get when you cross a totally hot modern day Highlander with a male Werewolf? The hottest book that I've read in a long time! Okay, for those who didn't know, I've been in a book slump. Nothing did it for me. It was like going through some freaky literary dry spell...but the guy in this book brought me back. This book has good sex, witty dialogue, a nasty bad guy, AND if that isn't enough the heroine owns a bookstore dedicated to romance novels. HELLO! What's not to like?! Plus, the story begins on her bookclub night. I mean we are talking cream of the crop, Ladies! The best had to be the fact that I didn't have to wait halfway through the book for the lovebirds to get together, in fact it happens right away (sort of). I mean he can't leave her side because he has to protect her. Why you ask? Well I guess you just have to read and find out.

Okay I just finished this book and I have to say that I really enjoyed it up until the very end. It had a decent story, pretty good sex scenes, the characters weren't annoying, and then something happens in like the last say thiry pages. Now don't get me wrong, it still ends well. Its just some of the scenes leading up to it that I have a problem with. I don't know if it's because we have been teaching the kids at work conflict resolution in a story or not, but generally when you have a conflict resolved you don't revisit it. Enough said.
